Mini and Austrian design team Vagabund have created a contrasting pair of Countryman concepts.

The second- and third-row curtain airbags could deploy unexpectedly.  

The facelifted electric hatchback also gains proper steering-wheel buttons, a volume knob, and dedicated rear-window switches.

The pre-production model will debut before July.  

Special models are in the pipeline, but they’re not coming anytime soon.
